Yesterday, we had to opportunity to go to the Twin Falls temple open house. This is only my second temple open house, the last one was the Dallas temple back in 1984.
It is a beautiful temple. You can see it from the freeway. Trevor was less than enthusiastic about the trip because he had to change into his church clothes. But once we got there and started watching the video he was excited. They had the young men and women there putting the booties on your shoes. Mikah remarked that it would have been a cool experience to be able to do that service. They made special efforts in the decor to incorporate the Syringa flower (Idaho's state flower) in many places and pictures from local artist to hang in the temple. It has two floors. In the creation room the have a murial of Shoshone Falls, which is in the area. I'm jealous because they get to move rooms. The celestial room is large and tall with an incredible chandelier. We went into the large sealing room and stood looking into the mirrors as a family.
Pictures were a little warm outside but we have a few. Those are the ones posted to the right. Connor was being his goofy self so we might have to cut him out of most of them. We rounded out the trip with the kids favorite, a trip to Golden Corral.

I love visiting temple open houses. I like your idea of riding bikes to places. I wish we could here. We looked up your weather. Your high is our avg low right now. Maybe in winter we might try it. :)
