Hawaii

After Halloween, it started to get cold, so we left for warmer weather. HAWAII!! and NO KIDS!! Mom and Dad flew up to babysit. James' parents flew all of the family over. There were 13 total; John, Loraine (parents) and siblings and spouses, Blaine and Debbie, Karan, Connie and LeGrande, JoAnn and Darrell, Don and Mary and us. We started the trip with a little snag in SLC, which lasted 7 hours. (snow) But the trip started to smooth out from there.

We spend two days in Honolulu; visited the Polynesian Cultural Center and Pearl Harbor. I found the job that I would love to do for the rest of my life at the International Market Place. I want to work at the Pick a Pearl stands. You get to pick an oyster and open it up to see the pearl. Absolutely loved it!! I could stand there all day and open oysters. It's like Christmas every time. James didn't like it so much, but it took care of buying me any Christmas gifts.

The rest of the time we spent on Kauai. It is alot more laid back, not as touristy. We snorkled, took a helicopter ride, and kayaked up the Wailula River. I'm not a lay around the beach kind, so we would have to go to the other islands next time.

(I added a slide show at the bottom of the blog)
