I know I'm crazy. I already have four kids and it's a zoo, one more won't hurt right. Before we left on vacation we decided to have an exchange student for the school year. It happed really quick.
Leon Leinweber is from Berlin, Germany. He is attending the catholic high school just down the street from Mikah's HS. He is a junior and is about Mikah's age. His parents are architects and he has one younger sister. Leon is really smart and loves computers. He and Mikah get along rather well.
He's done his first taste test of hamburgers. The $1 BK's whopper junior won over the $1 McDonald's burger. No surprise there. And since I shop at Costco everything is in large, super size, jumbo proportions.
It has been a little adjusting. Alexia got moved in with Connor and Trevor on the trundle. He is so glad that he wasn't sent to Texas, so I had to set him straight on a few opinions. He mainly perfers a colder climate. It will be a fun year. Doesn't he look cute with his new hair cut?

I think it's really great that Mikah is getting along with Leon well. It'll be nice for him. You are very good for having him come stay with you. It will probably be a really good experience.
I am glad to hear the Mikah wasn't hurt badly in his minor accident.
Wow, how the family grows in different ways. I hope you blog about the experiences of having an exchange student so we can all experience it vicariously through you.
I think that is so awesome that you are doing that. I hope the adjustment is going smoothly. Maybe you can all pick up some german.
